AMARANTHUS - Impressive color grows 3-5' tall very quickly & show off spectacularly in the sun. Tolerates poor soil, unfazed by heat or drought.
ASTERS - Sun loving purple, and sparkling white flowers; hardy, heat- and drought-tolerant plants, great choices for butterfly gardens. Deer do not care for asters.
CELOSIA - Sun to part-shade; Produces more and more blazing, deep red plume blooms and striking green-red foliage; 12-14" tall.
CLEOME - Airy 5-6" flower clusters on strong, sturdy stems. Grows best in full sun. Space 15-18" apart. Deer do not like.
